Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW)

The Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW) provides recommendations for the application of technology, which is of great importance to Switzerland as a habitat, a place of commerce and research.
In addition, SATW promotes the fascination for and understanding of technology among the Swiss population with a special focus on adolescents by organizing activities and performing various other tasks of coordination. SATW is government approved and a politically neutral non-profit institution, which unites experts and societies in the field of engineering. SATW participates in a global network of engineering sciences. It is a member of both the European Council of Applied Sciences and Engineering (Euro-CASE) and the International Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences (CAETS).
